Last Call: Only Four Seats Left for “From Roots to Rise” at Tambourine Room

Only Four Seats Left

Some dinners are enjoyable. Some dinners are memorable. And then there are the rare evenings that quietly become part of Florida’s culinary story.

From Roots to Rise: A Celebration of Florida’s Culinary Lineage is one of those nights.

With just four seats remaining, this intimate gathering at Tambourine Room inside the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is nearly sold out. Once those seats are gone, this dinner will officially close.

A Night That Won’t Be Repeated

This isn’t just another tasting menu. It’s a moment where generations of Florida cuisine come together at one table.

Legendary chef Norman Van Aken, the pioneer who helped define New World Florida Cuisine, joins forces with Chef Logan McNeil, whose thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking is shaping the next chapter of Miami’s fine dining scene.

Together, they will create a collaborative dinner that honors the roots of Florida’s culinary identity while celebrating where it is going next.

Expect a menu built on Florida’s terroir, heritage ingredients, and bold creativity with storytelling woven into every course.

A Rare, Intimate Evening

This experience is intentionally small.

Only 14 guests will be seated, allowing for a truly personal evening where the chefs, the stories, and the food can shine without distraction.

Guests will enjoy:

  • An 8 course collaborative dinner
  • Personal interaction with the chefs
  • Insight into the evolution of Florida cuisine
  • A dining experience that simply won’t be repeated

Hosted by The Whet Palette

As host of the evening, I’ll be guiding the conversation, sharing stories from Florida’s culinary history, and helping connect the dots between past, present, and future.

Think of it as part dinner, part storytelling salon, with some seriously beautiful food in between.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the moment.
