How did I choose just 30 bites to fit into one general category? I didn’t think I could do it, to be honest. I considered revising the list to 31, 32, or 33 items and changed my mind a zillion times. Finally, I figured it out and committed to a solid 30. Thank you, Miami, for upping the game this year and making it so hard on me.
Researching my food photography archives caused major cravings and anxiety (when the list kept growing). The answer to your question is yes, I ate all that. Even though I dine at many different places annually, some restaurants still scored multiple dishes on my list. These bites are the ones I can’t stop talking about. The ones that haunt me and, yes, also make me tear up. Perhaps you saw them posted on the blog, or all over my social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) at some point this year.
