Shhh, it’s Hiden

IMPORTANT UPDATES * August 18th, 2021 Hiden Changes While I once counted — and obsessed over— Hiden as one of my favorite restaurants (read the FULL review below), and placed it high on my TOP MIAMI RESTAURANTS list, my feelings about it have changed. I have decided to provide the following update, given this post […]

Monkitail

If Hakkasan and Kuro had a love child, Monkitail would be it. While visiting the new Point Royal restaurant at the renovated Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach recently, I caught a peek of this addition and moved it up on my list of must-try places. As in, I went back the next day. Philadelphia […]

Fi’lia

Located on the ground level of the SLS Brickell and just one week into service,  the very modern and chic,  Fi’Lia already functions like a seasoned restaurant veteran. Considering the restaurant was full to capacity during my visit, that’s a good thing. I’ve been to Michael’s Genuine more times than I can remember, as well as the former […]

Le Zoo, Je Like

Miami restaurants are ready. Bring them on! I am, of course, talking about the much coveted Michelin stars given out […]

1826 Restaurant and Lounge

Growing up in South Florida has allowed me to experience the rebirth of our beloved South Beach, a.k.a. SOBE, first hand. Surprisingly, not everyone knows that for a while there SOBE resembled a scene out of Miami Vice. Ocean Drive? Think quiet, retirement homes, and oceanfront rocking chairs. Washington and Collins Avenue? Good luck walking those shady, dark streets […]
